Stratford-upon-Avon to Kingswood Junction

We stayed in Stratford-upon-Avon for 2 nights, We enjoyed a visit to the Butterfly Farm and on Thursday 28 May we took Slow Pace and Scotch Corner for a cruise on the Avon before travelling to Bishopton, where we moored overnight and on Friday we continued on to Preston Bagot. The following morning Chris & Elaine hired a car to go to Cheltenham for a family get together. In the meantime, the boats cruised to Lapworth Junction/Kingswood Junction (the junction between the Stratford-upon-Avon and the Grand Union Canals), where Chris & Elaine joined them on Sunday 31 May. There we all enjoyed a super Sunday roast before we said farewell to Sandra & Ivan on Mr Toad, who are returning to their mooring via the Oxford Canal & the River Thames.
